Divya pairs up with Jeeva

Divya Spandana was most recent seen in the Gautam Menon-directed Suriya-starrer ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ more than an year ago. For the first time in her stretch in Tamil films, Divya had dubbed in her own voice in that film and was quite happy that she was measurement of a national award winning film. Recently, she exempt herself out of a Kannada film due to some difference that cropped up between her and the director. She reportedly put her feet down when the director insisted on her doing an ‘exposing’ succession and came out on her own terms. Presently, she now stars in the film ‘Singampuli’ in Tamil parallel Jeeva. The endowed Jeeva, who has done amazing films in ‘Raam’ and ‘Katradhu Tamizh’, appears to have decided to tread the commercial films instead of off-beat and meaningful films. When Divya was shooting for the film at an apartment under construction recently, she changed her dress at a temporary place on the third floor itself, instead of insisting to go down to ground floor to her caravan, which lay parked there. The Unit members were from top to bottom floored by Divya’s accommodating nature. Divya, who happens to be the grand-daughter of former Karnataka Chief Minister and the incumbent Union Foreign Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna, supposedly faces ‘death threat’ from some ‘mystery elements’ for the past few years. This is the enlightenment, it is said, that notwithstanding possessing a palatial house in Chennai and Hyderabad, Divya prefers staying in star hotels. When asked about this, the actress neither denied nor confirmed it!
