Putting all the guilt on her father Devadoss, 'Karagattam' renown Kanaka has said that attempts were being made to brand her ‘mentally deranged’ and that she was even willing to travel to the United States in search of her ‘missing husband’ Muthukumar.Talking to press in Chennai on Tuesday, she alleged that her father Devadoss was keen on usurping her assets. “My dad never liked me since my infancy. Now with an eye on my property, he has let free stories that I am spiritually ill,” she said.On her matrimony episode, she said, “after my mother’s death in 2002, I felt very lonely and it was then I met Muthukumar. We were in love for more than three years and got married in secret. He however gone just 15 days after the wedding.”Kanaka said she also called on Muthukumar’s parents in T Nagar recently. “But then Muthukumar’s photograph his parents showed me was entirely divergent. I am perplexed. I am even all set to go the US, where I learn Muthukumar is staying,” she said.Meanwhile, Devadoss has starved of all allegation made by Kanaka and said he is ready to take care of her. “She is mentally affected. I am ready to take care of her conduct expenses if she comes to me,” he said.
