Yes, in spite of his roots in film industry with father Maestro Illayaraja, Uncle Gangai Amaran and Cousin Venkat Prabhu, Yuvan is said to have heard scripts from two assistant directors to make his debut as a hero. He reportedly listened to them on a drive in his BMW car on ECR.
It is known to all that Yuvan is very close to accomplished and talented directors like Bala yet he was humble enough to listen to assistant directors who want to make a mark in the film industry.
The assistant directors had apparently approached Na. Muthukumar prior to Yuvan. Yuvan seems to be fast tracking his desire to become an actor.
