Saran films more often than not are colourful and exceptionally pleasurable to the eyes. Be it his choice of locations or the costumes of the actors, Saran weaves a absolutely colour co-ordinated magic in his films. One remembers even after so many years the colourful visuals of films like his romantic ‘Jay Jay’. The colour tone of ‘Unai Naan…’ song in ‘Jay Jay’ is still fresh in the minds.
