Guess a similarity between Jackie Chan and Bharath? Well, both had worked with the ace stunt master Jimmy Lo. While the summit actor of Asia had worked with Lo in many movies, our ‘Chinna Thalapathy’ has worked under his supervision designed for ‘Thambikku Indha Ooru”.Says the film’s producer Saravanan, “Lo wanted to see Bharath before signing ‘Thambikku Indha Ooru’ because he wanted to test the person who would be performing the stunts. He accepted the project only after he was satisfied with Bharath.”Saravanan adds: “Lo clearly laid two conditions- that he would not allow body doubles and no make use of of ropes in stunts. As a result, Bharath had to perform risky stunts on his own without much safety measures. His hard work deserves praise.”Echoing the producer, Bharath says, “Stunts by Jimmy Lo in Singapore is the highlight of the movie. They have come away from home well. Working with Lo was a great experience. He was a assignment master and at the same time very helpful.”On his priorities, the performer says, “I want to do commercial films now. Having experimented with off-beat films in the past, I feel it is time I prove my worth in mass-hero themes. ‘Thambikku Indha Ooru’ will be one such movie.”
