Jai To Become AD

Guess who is going to lend a hand Venkat Prabhu in his accommodating business enterprise ‘Poochandi’? He is Jai, the director’s put up the shutters assistant, who celebrated his 25th birthday on the sets of ‘Kanimozhi’ in Chennai on Wednesday. Says the actor, “Venkat is the one person who knows me very well. It was he who brought out the acting talent in me. I am happy to work as an assistant director in his film, which has my good friends Premji in addition to Shiva as protagonists.”On the reason behind his decision, he says, “Though I come from a music family, I always wanted to become a director. So I feel that supplementary Venkat would help me reach my target at least in the future.”Happy about the response he is receiving for his last venture ‘Aval Peyar Thamizharasi’, Jai says, “My performance is being appreciated by one and all. My forthcoming films Arjunan Kadhali and Kanimozhi will also live up to the expectations.”
