Karthi – Tamannah And The Contest Winners

The behindwoods Paiyya contest generated considerable rejoinder from fans resulting in a whopping number of entries. Of the applied teams, 25 were selected in addition to every one players was allowed to bring 4 members. The special screening was held at the Four Frames preview theatre, Nungambakkam, Chennai on Sunday, April 4, 2010. Paiyaa’s cast and crew met the winners after the screening of the film. Director Lingusamy, Karthi, Tamannah, Cameraman Madhie were present at the Q&A session which saw the audience posing some interesting questions. Karthi and Tamannah replied every single question about the movie and their other projects patiently and the interaction went on for about half-an-hour. They also posed for photographs with the fans patiently while the shutterbugs flashed endlessly.The winners felt it was a dream come true scenario for them to meet Karthi and Tamannah and watch the special screening. They also thanked behindwoods for providing such an opportunity.
Arya said, “The film’s budget is many times bigger than my marketplace value. I am hopeful that ‘Madharasapattinam’ would be received well by the masses.
