Sarath goes to Bollywood

Even as his forthcoming Tamil film ‘Vidiyal’ hit the floors now, Sarath Kumar has made an announcement that he would act in a Hindi film by the end of July this year.“All that I can say now is I’ll be doing a Bollywood film by July end. I will be running with two of the most respected filmmakers as of the south,” says the president of the South Indian Film Artistes Association. On ‘Vidiyal’, he says, “the film is in cooperation produced by Giriguja Films International Pvt Ltd and RRR Movies, my own production company which has immediately been launched. Directed by K R Selvaraj, the story travels between 1946, 1976 and 2010.”Thanking Malayalam director Hariharan and scriptwriter M T Vasudevan Nair intended for taking him to Kerala audience in the midst of ‘Pazhassi Raja’, Sarath says, “They have opened new doors for me. I am now acting in two more films in Mollywood.”Interestingly, the actor will also be doing a Kannada film titled ‘Sarathi’. “Though I am acting in Hindi, Malayalam as well as Kannada films, my area of focus will always be Tamil. I have many plans for Kollywood which you will come to know one by one.”
