Suriya’s Part-Time Job

Friday, March 5, 2010

Actor Suriya is one of the busiest heroes of Kollywood. Films, ads, documentaries, story discussions and more keep this actor busy all the time. When not filming, he is in a meeting by means of his Agaram Foundation, other humanitarian armed forces and meetings with his fans. Sometimes the actor is away from his family for two or three days at a time. He misses his family as much as they miss him. This is the price stars like him pay for their stardom. But thankfully, Suriya has a loving wife Jyotika, who is a caring mother to their daughter Diya. She takes good care of her and bestows upon her Suriya’s share of love too. And when Suriya is home, he makes it a summit that he spend all his time with his wife and daughter; on these days, he even finishes his daily workout, which he never misses, well before his family wakes up.It is to be noted that despite such busy schedules and sacrificing valuable family time, Suriya dubbed for Aamir’s character in Vaal Natchitharam (Tamil version of Taare Zameen Par) and did not accept any fee for his examination as he was so moved by the story. Apportioning his time dexterously for his altruistic deeds and dedication to his profession and family, Suriya is a self-made lecturer of time management.Suriya’s family is what one would call “the picture-perfect” family. But still, kids are kids and little Diya will definitely have a grudge that her member of the clergy is forced to spend so much time at work to a certain extent than with her, which she expresses in her baby coos decipherable only by her mother Jyotika. Recently, Jyotika decided to give form to her daughter’s thoughts and she gifted Suriya mug with a picture of Diya and a caption that reads: My dad has a part-time job. That's me. Trivia: When Aamir Khan came to be on familiar terms with about Suriya's selfless deed, he was very touched and gifted him a Macbook Air, the ultra-thin laptop.
